Privacy
Plainly put: what we keep and why.
ViralPost keeps as little as it needs to run your account and send the digest. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared beyond the services named below.
What we keep
Your name, your email address and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store the password itself.
A session cookie that keeps you signed in. It is only used for that and expires after 30 days.
Your plan and digest choices: how often the digest arrives and in which timezone.
If you pay for Pro, Stripe processes the payment. We keep a reference to your Stripe customer record, never your card details.
We send account emails, like password resets, and the digest to Pro members who keep it switched on.
Our emails measure opens and link clicks with a small tracking image and tracked links, so we can tell which posts land. Every digest has an unsubscribe link, and you can pause it in your account at any time.
Visitor statistics
We count visits with privacy-friendly analytics that use no cookies and collect no personal data.
Content from X
Every post on ViralPost is a public post on X. Images and videos load straight from X's servers, which means X can see that your browser requested them, as with any embedded post.
If you made a post and want it removed from ViralPost, write to us and we will take it down.
Your choices
Change or pause the digest, update your details or delete your account from your account page. Deleting it removes your data from ViralPost right away.
Questions about your data go to hello@viralpost.design.
